Refund Policy
Payments for MarketerJob plans are final. This page lists the only three situations in which a charge is returned. In force from October 14, 2026.
Who this covers
This policy applies to every paid plan on MarketerJob: employer plans that keep marketing roles live on the board, and MarketerJob Pro for job seekers. Browsing the board and applying cost nothing and are not affected. The policy is part of our Terms of Service.
Why payments are final
A plan is a monthly or yearly subscription. For an employer it pays for the right to keep the number of live roles shown on the pricing page for that period. For a job seeker it pays for the Pro features for that period. Access is complete from the first day of each period, and the price does not depend on how many candidates apply, how many views a listing gets or how often you log in.
By subscribing you ask us to start the service at once. Where a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period would otherwise apply, you accept that it ends once the service has begun at your request.
Charges we return
We return a charge in one of these three situations, provided our records confirm it, and never beyond the amount of that charge.
- Duplicate payment. Our billing charged you twice for the same period.
- Unauthorised payment, shown in the records. Your card was used without your permission, you let us know within 14 days of the charge, and the payment and account history support it. We decide on evidence rather than on the statement alone, and we may ask you to confirm that you reported the misuse to the bank that issued the card.
- The board did not work at all. A fault on our side, confirmed by us, made MarketerJob entirely unusable for you for a continuous period, you reported it while it lasted, and we could not resolve it. Slow pages, a delayed listing, an email that went to spam, or a problem with your own device or connection is not a complete failure.
Any returned amount goes to the card that paid, is capped at what you paid for the affected period, and is the full extent of our liability for that charge. It does not create a right to any further return.
Charges we do not return
- A listing attracted fewer or weaker applicants than expected, or you filled the role through another channel.
- The role was put on hold, cancelled or filled before the period ended.
- As a job seeker, you did not get interviews or an offer, or you found a job early in the period.
- You did not post a role, kept fewer roles live than the plan allows, or barely used Pro.
- A feature is not on the pricing page, or works differently from what you expected.
- You chose the wrong plan or billing period.
- You believed you were paying once. Every plan renews, as stated on the pricing page, at checkout, in the confirmation email and in your account.
- A renewal was charged because you cancelled late, or you cancelled straight after it, including a renewal collected after a failed attempt.
- A listing was taken down because it broke our Terms of Service.
- A colleague or anyone else used your account with your login.
Cancelling and renewals
Plans renew automatically until you cancel them in your account, which you can do at any time on your own. Cancelling stops all future renewals immediately. Your roles stay live, or your Pro features stay on, until the end of the period you have paid for, and leftover days are not credited.
Each new period is owed from the day it begins, because access for it begins that day. If a payment is declined, the same invoice is retried over the next days, and those retries are not new charges. Cancelling during the retries stops later renewals only; the period already started stays payable and is not returned. Cancel before the renewal date shown in your account if you do not want the next period.
Requesting a return
Email support@marketerjob.com from your account address within 14 days of the charge. Give the date and amount and say which of the three situations applies. Requests sent later, from another address or through another route are not reviewed. We handle them in the order received, without a fixed reply time, and do not reopen a declined request.
What we record
For each subscription we keep the plan and price shown at checkout, when you accepted our terms, the emails we sent you, and an activity log of the account: sign-ins, roles posted, edited and closed, applications received, and Pro activity, with the technical details logged alongside. Our payment operator keeps its own record of each charge, including where the card was issued, where the payment came from and the result of bank authentication such as 3D Secure.
Opening a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first breaches our Terms of Service. We pass these records to the card issuer and close the account permanently.
