MarketerJob is a job board where companies post marketing roles and marketers find their next job by specialty. We collect the email and account details you give us, the board activity and preferences you create, messages you send us, and basic analytics and log data, so we can run the product and improve it. We never sell your personal information.

About this site

MarketerJob presents a marketing job board experience. The listings, companies and salary bands shown on the site are illustrative product UI used to demonstrate how the board works, and no real job applications are submitted through the current site interface. When you use a button on the site, you are signing up by email so we can set up your account and tell you when the product is available to you.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what we collect when you visit marketerjob.com, browse the board, filter by specialty, save or apply to a role, sign up for alerts or an account, indicate that you want to post a role, or contact us. It covers the MarketerJob website and product.

Information we collect

• Account and signup information. The email address you provide when you sign up, and any optional details you choose to share, such as your name, whether you are a job seeker or an employer, and the specialty or role you are interested in. We use a short verification code to confirm your email.
• Board activity. The specialties you filter by, the roles you view, the jobs you save, and the alerts you set, so the service can show relevant roles and you can return to your saved listings.
• Employer information. For hiring teams, the role details you submit and the contact and billing information needed to run a paid job post.
• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can respond.
• Analytics data. Aggregate usage information about how the site is used, so we can understand which features are helpful and improve the experience.
• Technical and log data. Standard information such as IP address, browser type, and the page or campaign you arrived from, including UTM parameters, used for security, fraud prevention and understanding traffic sources.

How we use your information

• To run the job board, including showing marketing roles, specialty filters and salary bands.
• To set up your account, verify your email address, save roles and alerts, and respond to your questions.
• To operate paid job posts for employers and to handle their billing.
• To send you relevant product updates and, if you opt in, role alerts for your specialty, which you can turn off at any time.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the product is used so we can improve it, and to protect the board from abuse, fraud and security threats.

Listings shown on the site

The job listings, companies, monograms and salary bands displayed across the site are illustrative and are used to demonstrate how the board works. They may not reflect live or current openings, and no real application is sent through the current site interface. We will be clear about what is real and what is illustrative as the product develops.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the product, such as our hosting, payment and email delivery providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and our users.

How we think about security

We design to minimize the data we collect, limit access to it, and protect the information you trust us with. We use strong encryption in transit and at rest and least-privilege access. We do not claim any certification or status we do not hold.

Data retention

We keep account and job-post data for as long as an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, billing and security obligations. You can ask us to delete the information you have submitted at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct or delete the information you have submitted, and you can opt out of non-essential email and role alerts at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and site evolve. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
